La peticionaria, que ha tenido noticias de su sobrino desde un campo de prisioneros sin que él especificara cuál era, pide ayuda a la Oficina para conocer su paradero. En la primera misiva (pues el expediente consta de una segunda carta de agradecimiento) dibuja incluso el sello que tenía la carta de su sobrino, que era el que imprimía la censura vienesa en las cartas que salían de los campos, para tratar de facilitar la búsqueda del militar.
