La séptima carta que escribe a la Oficina el padre del mencionado militar es una queja desesperada a Alfonso XIII por considerar que el rey no ha hecho lo suficiente para encontrar a su hijo, el cual, sostiene, está vivo y fue gravemente herido en la tercera batalla del Isonzo. En cartas anteriores pidió la intercesión del emperador de Austria y, en este caso, pide al monarca que le facilite la dirección del rey de Portugal. Igualmente, en las distintas misivas el peticionario afirma que el militar habría perdido el juicio y se encontraría en un manicomio sin poder dar noticias a los suyos.
