El peticionario empieza la carta agradeciendo las gestiones realizadas en la búsqueda del soldado Demetri Conti, razón por la cual ambos expedientes se relacionan.
El soldado Carlo Mirri falleció en enero de 1918 en Mauthausen. La bandera blanca de la ficha onomástica se colocaría por error, aunque es posible que la misma tuviera también una bandera negra, pues la parte superior derecha del papel está rota.
