El único expediente que se resuelve de manera positiva es el del teniente Luigi Gori, fallecido en un combate aéreo. En su ficha se dice que fue obligado a aterrizar el 30 de Diciembre de 1917 en Zorera, al sur de Susegana, acción que, posiblemente, esté relacionada con la batalla de Istrana, que se desarrolló el 26 de Diciembre de 1917 en el cielo de Istrana y fue el combate aéreo más importante del frente italiano.
Luigi Gori y Maurice Pagliano eran pilotos de un avión Caproni, mientras que Giuseppe Ciuffelli pilotaba un Voisin.
