Resulta interesante el relato que realiza el peticionario desde que su hijo resulta herido por bayoneta hasta que llega a Mauthausen y, deteriorada su salud, se pide su repatriación a Italia. El peticionario teme que las dificultades para realizar un intercambio de prisioneros con su hijo vengan porque un hermano suyo y tío del militar (eran de origen austriaco) era también prisionero del Gobierno austriaco, pues era un sospechoso político.
