El soldado Tommaso Castellano falleció el 18 de Mayo de 1916 en Coston d'Arsiero y fue enterrado en el mismo lugar. La carta fechada el 19 de marzo buscaba recibir la confirmación definitiva de la muerte del mencionado militar, pues la peticionaria cuenta que, aunque se le daba por herido y desaparecido, al alcalde de su localidad le llegó un telegrama diciendo que un Tommaso Castellano había fallecido en el Trentino. Sin embargo, puesto que no se especificaba quién era su padre ni a qué regimiento pertenecía, no estaba segura de que se tratara de él.
Existen tres fichas del mencionado militar en el fichero onomástico (números 1595, 2266 y 2427).
