History
Liga nacionalista francesa fundada por Paul Deroulède, Henri Martin y Felix Faure en 1882. La liga comenzó siendo un grupo no-partisano nacionalista llamando a la "revancha" (o venganza de los franceses por la guerra Franco-Prusiana) contra Alemania. Uno de los propósitos originales de la liga era ofrecer entrenamiento pre-militar, permitiendo a los miembros participar en pruebas físicas y de tiro.
